Are there any hair care products that stimulate hair growth?
I like my hair long but my mom made me cut it short. I want my long hair back! Are there any hair care products that stimulate hair growth?
Jojoba oil mimicks the hair's natural oil, sebum. I once read an article about a study where there were two groups of participants. One group was made to massage their scalp every night before bed with an essential oil while the other group used non-essential oils. The study found that the group that used essential oils experienced more growth over that period of time compared to the other group. Nothing can make your hair grow faster than it's supposed to because hair growth is determined by your genes. But there are ways you can experience your *optimal* hair growth. Massaging your scalp is one way, and also keeping your scalp clean will promote hair growth because nothing is clogging your pores. This and patience. Are there any hair care products that stimulate hair growth?
you will find all sorts of products with promising names -
stay off!
nature will take care of the problem and meanwhile you can
try out various styles for short hair. this certainly will not
damage your hair or scalp and there must be styles which
look good on you
Sadly not no. There's a lot of stuff out there that will cost a fortune and not work though, so don't be fooled. Your hair will naturally grow more as the weather gets warmer towards summer.
Could you try (professionally done, good quality) extensions?
Sadly no. You will have to make it till you get it back. The products out are people who are bolding or looseing hair.
You can get some extentions or try jessica simpson hair assosories.
Nothing my friend but eating lots of fruits and vegtables will surely help. A good multi vitamin will also help stimulate hair growth and give you better skin as well!

How do i stimulate hair growth in a short amount of time?
i want a beard and long hair or should i just wait it out?How do i stimulate hair growth in a short amount of time?
GNC has a supplement called ';Nourishair'; that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a ';hair skin and nails'; formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results. How do i stimulate hair growth in a short amount of time?

Does anyone know of any herbal medicines that stimulate hair growth?
I'm only 26 women but my hair is starting to thin and almost recede at the temples. It used to be thickerDoes anyone know of any herbal medicines that stimulate hair growth?
Well hair loss can occur with women just as it does for men even when all are healthy according to both allopathic %26amp; naturopathic guidelines; so there is not always a specific health problem as such that is the cause of hair loss other than pure genetics that allow it to happen in the first place (which is evolution, hard written code that cannot be changed - Simply something we have to live with such as skin colour and height etc).
More often than not when a woman is starting to lose hair (especially at an early age) it's vitally important to look at her liver as that is most likely to be needing attention.
Second to that Stress is something else; if you consider that you have a stress level that is more than you'd consider to be the every day average... try doing something each day that takes your mind off things... whether it's exercise, something you truly love or just spending time chilling out etc... believe it or not but this greatly decreases stress levels.
Stress is a major player in the disfunction of the body.
A diet high in sugar, saturated fats, salt, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, drugs (both prescription %26amp; over the counter), artificial colours, flavours %26amp; preservatives are definitely things that will pollute the liver thus greatly reduce it's function.
Garlic is great for it's sulphur content, Ginger greatly increases circulation to the surface of your skin (aka scalp); Feel free to include these into meals liberally each day.
A liver cleanse you can have daily is equal parts Carrot, Celery %26amp; Beetroot juiced.Does anyone know of any herbal medicines that stimulate hair growth?
Hi,
If you are in this circumstance right now, you may be stuck to some questions as to why this is happening to you or you are not yet expecting it to happen just yet. Well, you are not alone. This is because the patterns are not really recognizable unlike that with men.
Women should not really be scared when they notice their hair thinning because it may be because of some illness or pregnancy that they experience this. If you judge the pattern like with men, you should remember that a man’s hair begins to thin earlier than a woman. Women start hair loss at around 50, or even later.
But if you are really the kind of woman who fears that the hair loss you are experiencing is not normal, you should probably see a specialist to have an early diagnosis. It is recommended to see a specialist rather than doing a self exam because often times, self diagnosis is not accurate.
As discussed earlier, women do not shed hair like men, which have an obvious thinning of hair as they have a different hair loss pattern. There are different patterns that may consider as signs of “Androgenetic Alopecia”. If you see your hair thinning by the back and front of the scalp, it may suggest that you have Androgenetic Alopecia.
Also, when the entire scalp seems to be thinning, well it is an obvious sign of the Androgenetic Alopecia.Though it has been discussed that female pattern starts at 50, it may also be that it starts on the late teen years to the early 20s of women. That is why you have to see a specialist to diagnose the thinning.
There are also a few causes of hair loss in women that is not associated with the hair loss pattern. These include Trichotillomania, which is caused by hair pulling. Alopecia areata which may be a disorder that autoimmune.
Triangular alopecia which is only a temporary loss. Scarring Alopecia, which involves the scarring of the area of the scalp. And lastly, Telogen effluvium, which is a hormonal or drug/stress associated cause. For more information visit the link in the source
Good luck ;)
Hello, your in luck. I am a Massage Therapist who specializes in Essential Oils. To help promote hair growth use shampoo that contains lavender or Rosemary. Lavender helps to stimulate and clear clogged hair follicles. Rosemary encourages the hair growth. Shampoo that also contains ylang ylang will work over time. If you want something on a more Organic Professional grade level I suggest going to www.youngliving.com They have a superb bath and beauty line.
Silica supplements are good, however they can cause kidney and liver problems if taken in too high a potency! As long as you stick to a low dosage you should get along fine with it, it can also cause your nails to grow like crazy so be warned!

10 points!!!!What kind of herbs stimulate hair growth?
I have only basic knowledge of herbal remedies and homeopathy and unfortunately do not know about particular herbs that help stimulate hair growth. You need to be extremely careful if you decide to take herbs, since some of them can interact with medications you are taking. Some herbs are also poisonous, and can be deadly in untrained hands.
I'm on iron pills for iron deficency anemia. It has not only improved my hair growth and thickness, but it has also made my nails grow stronger and kept my lips from getting chapped as often. Check down your vitamin aisle and there should be OTC iron tablets that help. There is also iron in the average multivitamin most times, but if you want to focus on your hair growth I think the iron alone would help the most. If you do decide to start taking iron pills, I recommend a stool softener in conjunction with it; iron tends to cause constipation and sometimes changes the color of your stool. Makes life a little bit easier.
Please talk to your doctor before you start taking any herbal remedy, iron, or anything similar. I usually always say better safe than sorry, and they can tell you about any side effects they may have on you, if they would interact with any medications you're currently taking, etc.
If you are still interested in learning about herbal remedies, check out your local holistic/health food store. The one I go to locally has a well trained staff and loose herbs for sell, as well as herbs in pill form. There's also many books out there about herbal remedies, so I also recommend checking out your local library or book store. What kind of herbs stimulate hair growth?
Hi Maddie,
Natural and holistic therapy offers a gentler alternative for people experiencing hair loss than the harsh effects of conventional medication. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies stimulate and encourage hair growth as well as support blood circulation, hormonal balance and thyroid functioning.
Herbs commonly used include Ginkgo biloba, Rosmarinus officinale and Xanthoxylum clavaherculis help to promote strong, abundant hair. Other powerful herbs such as Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa and Echinacea are effective combating hair loss and nourishing hair follicles.
Check out for more details and recommendations on the link below
hope it helps
Good Luck
I know it not a herb! However I have used avocado oil applied to the scalp or wherever you wish numerous times to promote hair growth on myself and others and have never failed to date.
Pure avocado oil must be in a glass bottle.
Aloe Vera!:) Why not try Hair Transplant Surgery? It would cost you at around $6000 if you are from NY.
go to www.iherb.com and see what they may have for you there. if you use promo code jar025 you can get $5.00 off your purchase.

Whats the best way to stimulate hair growth?
in october i got a HORRENDUS haircut, that was about a foot shorter than ive had my hair my whole life. I cant stand it any more!
anything you know of that can help stimulate the growth to get it back to my normal length?Whats the best way to stimulate hair growth?
I know what you mean by a horrendous haircut. I got one last February, and my hair is still growing out...it was like this ugly layered bob sort of thing. Now, it's even and past my shoulders. In time, your hair will grow. It grows about 1/2'; a month. In the meantime, just keep it healthy and avoid getting split ends.Whats the best way to stimulate hair growth?
Hey :)
Drink Water - It has nutrients in and honestly, it works!
Get Vitamin tablets - Works, but not aswell as water, you can get these tablest from 'boots'
Get certain oil - Makes your hair VERY greasy but you can try it :):)
hope this helped :)
Get some biotin for you local drugstore, its a vitamin, and when you shampoo your hair take about 3 mins and massage your scalp. That is the only way to make your hair grown faster, is to get more blood up there with more nutrients
first.... there are no vitamins in water. zero. just check the nutrition facts on your next bottled water.
prenatal vitamins help stimulate hair growth.
